The scope of works include the erection of a new depot with office area, external jet wash area, pump station, pole store, bunded plant area, and bike shelter.
The depot has been designed to acheive a BREEAM rating of Outstanding.
BREEAM is an environmental assesment methodology and rating system for buildings. Setting the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation, it has become one of the most comprehensive and widely recongised measures of a buildings environmental performance. Buildings are rated according to how many credits are acheived with Good being the lowest, then Very Good, Excellent, and Outstanding for those buildings that have gone signifcantly beyond regulation.
